The European Union @euinnigeria under the Agents For Citizen Driven Transformation (ACT) Programme implemented by the @ngbritish recently organised a 2-Day Training for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Lagos State on Regulatory Frameworks and Compliance.
In his opening remarks, Mr Idem Udoekong the Component Manager 2 of the EU-ACT program stressed on why we need laws to exist as CSOs and it’s overall importance for sustainability.
Representatives of CSOs within Lagos state were equipped with the requisite knowledge and information on Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, Taxation, Antiterrorism, Money Laundering and Pension. These Regulatory Mechanisms will help to enhance overall effectiveness in compliance obligation by CSOs
